HI! I’m D…Dani…Danette…I answer to pretty much anything that starts with a D. I live in Fort Worth with my husband and the sweetest Goldendoodle you’ve ever met. I am a teacher turned photographer. I’ve been working with kids, teaching or photographing them, for over 30 years.
Why Photography? As a mom of 3 boys (who aren’t so little anymore), I understand that life happens fast! Watching my kids grow and change so rapidly is one of the things that drew me to photography in the first place. One minute your are carrying a baby around on your hip complaining about how heavy they are and the next, you're watching them pull out of the driveway in their new car wondering how in the world you got to this place. At the end of the day, a photograph allows you to freeze time, even if only for a moment. But the final result, a photograph, is something to be treasured for generations.
Why Senior Photography? I’ve been photographing mostly seniors for over 7 years. There’s is something extra special about your son or daughter’s senior year! It’s a year of lasts as they prepare to launch into semi-adulthood. Photographing them at this unique time in their lives is an absolute privilege!
